The International Association of Universities (IAU) as a contribution to the upcoming?UNESCO World Higher Education Conference and discussion in the next?In Focus?section of the Association��s magazine,?IAU Horizons, wants to offer university perspectives on selected themes.

What needs to change to shape higher education for the future? How would you reinvent higher education? Or question the need to reinvent it? What are the key issues that policymakers must address when they discuss and reimagine higher education??

The articles can address issues related to the governance of higher education at the national or international policy level or discuss topics to be addressed at the institutional level.?Contribute to shaping the conversation on the future of higher education by sharing your aspirations and views or by identifying key challenges. Please submit a short abstract (100 words) explaining the focus of the article.

Texila American University (TAU) has emerged as a leading force in promoting community welfare in Guyana through its proactive blood donation drives. As part of its Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) initiatives, TAU has been dedicated to addressing the pressing need for blood in the region, often heightened by medical emergencies and ongoing health conditions. One of the university��s most recent and impactful drives took place on June 21, 2024, in collaboration with the National Blood Transfusion Services (NBTS).
